Tip for Is IT Positraction?

To check your Classic El Camino, Classic Chevelle, or Classic Mustang for Positraction, jack the car up in the rear. With car in neutral hand turn one of the tires. If the other tire spins the opposite direction, it is an "open" end rear. If they spin the same direction, it is a Positraction.

A normal misconception for Chevey's is that if you have a 8.5 inch 10 bolt rear end it is not positraction. Positraction was available in either the 10 or 12 bolt pattern rear ends, you have to check to see if the one you have is positraction or not.

Dual head lights are Cool!
